One Sweet Challenge!

I am not a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  Nor am I an expert card maker!  I just like spending time with my mom making cards and being creative!  So, I decided to give a challenge a try!  When reading the challenge (PPA25), and seeing the piece of chocolate, I immediately thought that I would like to try out "the cupcakes."  That's right, "Big Bold Cupcakes" sizzlits were used to create this sweet treat!  I also used Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, and Riding Robin Red papers, Basic Brown stamp pad, a Texturz plate, and Real Red ribbon all from Stampin' Up!  To purchase any of these items from Stampin' Up!, click HERE!

This was a fun first challenge, and I look forward to others in the future!

  1. I love your cute card, Jessica! Great idea to use the cupcake Sizzlit for this challenge! Love the embossed background in Chocolate Chip! Looks great against the scalloped square of Real Red! Great job with the challenge!

  2. Great take on the inspiration picture - the cupcake is perfect! Glad you are back to play @PPA!

  3. Jessica, you are a card maker NOW! This is adorable! Don't you just love stamping and creating, it's just what I want to do 24-7! That is so sweet that you and your mom stamp together. Thank you for sharing and I'm so glad I've met you through PPA.

    Happy Stampin',

P.S. I love your blog. You should check-out it's a fun website for crafty moms.

  4. Nice card Miss Jessica! I didn't have time to submit one! Hopefully next time! Isn't it fun? I love to play at the PPA and watch Miss Anna while you are creating cards!

  5. It was fun mom! Even though I am not totally satisfied with the result!! You can watch her any time when I make a card! :o)

  6. Adorable card, Jessica! I think that the Big Bold Cupcake sizzlit was a perfect choice for the challenge! The colors are perfect, and I love the ribbon. Thanks for playing @ PPA!
